stimpyp.preference.load_preferences(file, check_suffix=True)#

Get stimpy output(parsed) preference file as dict

Parameters:

file (str | Path | bytes | BinaryIO | BufferedIOBase | BufferedReader) – filepath for the .pref or .prefs
check_suffix (bool) – if check the file suffix

Returns:

PreferenceDict

Return type:

PreferenceDict
